Certified since 1997, I am a senior Certified Fitness Professional with over 25 years of personal training experience. From Freshman to Senior year in high school I was on the wrestling, football, and track teams and was Team Captain of my college wrestling team in 1977 thru '78. After joining the U.S. Navy and volunteering for Submarine Service, I was selected for the 1980 All Navy Wrestling Team but unfortunately, the U.S. boycotted the Moscow games that year. Those years of multi sport training gave me an extensive foundation upon which I would later continue my health and fitness education and certifications.

At 51 years of age I went back to school and finished my B.S. in Sport  Management and Wellness [cum laude] and at 61 earned my M.S. [summa cum laude] in Exercise and Rehabilitation Science. I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine [NASM] Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Senior Fitness Specialist. Because of my success working with seniors, my specialized education, and senior fitness training  I was awarded the role of Master Trainer for Special Populations at The Sport Club/LA.

As a Certified Fitness Professional I have served as a useful source to those seeking advice, inspiration, and motivation in health and fitness. Now I offer that role to you. I hope sharing my knowledge helps to lengthen your life and improve your living. Everyone benefits from exercise, but none more than mature adults who've begun to notice the weakness of muscles, the insidious creep of fatigue, and the aches and pains of years passed. I founded The Trainer Forum with that mission in mind.
Take some time to explore the blog, read something interesting, and feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate on "the project of YOU."
